A website for genealogists has suggested that LAC is unnecessarily withholding the publication of the 1921 Census. As President of Nanaimo Family History Society in Nanaimo BC, I and our members would be concerned if this were true. Reading your Blog, it appears that LAC only received the Census on 1 Jun, IAW 92 year statute on release date of Census. Thus it would take some time to digitize and release the results. Could you please clarify when the 1921 Census will be released? Thank-you
Despite your stated policy of moderating comments within two days it seems to take much longer for comments/questions about the 1921 Census to be added to the site. No specific answers have been given to the many questions about this material. Why the secrecy?
