  1. The collection of images is interesting, but it is unfortunate that more attention was not paid to organization and presentation. If the pictures of Borden visiting Canadian troops at Bramshott, England (not Bramashott as one caption says) in 1917 had been kept together they might have been used to tell an interesting story. Some information about what troops he was visiting and his impressions of the visit could have been obtained from the Borden Papers. In the first picture described as Borden and his Staff, the officers he is with were not his Staff, but Staff Officers. Were they Staff Officers of Bramshott Camp, or Canadian Staff Officers who accompanied him on the visit? More care should have been taken to use the correct title for Borden at the time each picture was taken. If LAC is going to use FLICKR it should be done with excellence rather than giving an impression of sloppiness.
